Biographies

Beverly L. Cotton (Elizabeth) is making her Summer Place debut with this production. Some of her acting credits include The Dining Room, The Desk Set, Diaries of Adam and Eve, Sorry, Wrong Number and Octette Bridge Club at Valley View Theatre Guild. She will be directing All My Sons for them this April. Beverly is also an actor with The Mystery Shop and has worked in customer support for the Xerox Corporation in Park Ridge since 1985.

Molleen Dupree (Nancy) has been involved in many musical theatre productions at Naperville North High School, where she is a senior. She has been in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma as Vivian, Franz Lehar’s The Merry Widow as Zo-Zo and will be playing the role of Pitti-Sing in Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Mikado on March 3rd & 4th. This is also Molleen’s debut with The Summer Place.

Donald Falkos (Mr. Manningham) appeared in The Summer Place production of Night Must Fall about ten years ago. Since then he has appeared in over 100 productions in the Western suburbs, Northern Indiana and Chicago. He has also done radio and television programs, commercials and several industrial films. His favorite roles include Duke Mantee in The Petrified Forest and Sherlock Holmes, whom he portrayed seven different times. Donald is employed as a locksmith.

Larry Lipskie (Rough) has performed in fifteen productions with The Summer Place. Three of his favorite roles have been Fr. Doherty in Angels Fall, W.O. Gant in Look Homeward, Angel and Rough in this production of Angel Street. He occasionally appears in shows whose titles do not contain the word Angel. Last season he took part in The Music Man. Larry and his wife Lois are members of the West Suburban Choral Union in Wheaton. Larry also works as a computer software engineer at AT&T.

Suzanne Nyhan (Mrs. Manningham) acting credits include Molly in The Mousetrap, Arlene in Getting Out, Victorie in Paradise Hotel, and for the Theatre of Western Springs to name a few... She is also a graduate of The Players Workshop of Second City. Suzanne has a B.A. in Communications and a J.D. from Loyola University Law School. She is employed as a General Counsel for a legal publishing company and specializes in Illinois compensation law. Suzanne is also a space cadet, having attended NASA’s U.S. Space Academy twice!

Nancy H. Chase (Director) has been involved in all phases of theatre both backstage and on stage, having acted in, worked tech crews and directed numerous show in Florida, Maryland and Illinois. She and her partner have formed Playmakers, Too, through which they introduce children to theatre arts. Her favorite directing assignment was The Desk Set and her favorite roles are The Woman in Veronica’s Room and Eliza Gant in Look Homeward, Angel.

Judy Di Vita (Assistant Director/Stage Manager) has been involved in various productions over the years, such as Barefoot in the Park, Skin of Our Teeth, Bells are Ringing, Pajama Game, as well as Summer Place productions of Other People’s Money, West Side Story, Ghost Stories in the Park ...in the Dark and The Nerd. Judy is also a member of the Summer Place Board. Much of her time is spent producing and directing television shows at Naperville Community Television. She is employed by Elkay Manufacturing Company.
