Summer Place Theatre, in association with Traveling Trunk Entertainment, proudly presents the classic musical Gypsy to begin our 2011 season. Gypsy is a true story - based on the memoirs of Gypsy Rose Lee, the famous striptease artist - which also centers on her overbearing stage mom, Rose. It has been hailed as one of the greatest American musicals of all time, garnering numerous Tony Awards over the years for the original 1959 production as well as many revivals, most recently in 2008 starring Patti LuPone. The Summer Place has assembled some of the best youth and adult talent in the community, both new faces and performers you'll recognize from our past productions.  Audiences of all ages are sure to enjoy this high-energy show.

New Location

Gypsy will be performed at Center Stage Theater, located at 1665 Quincy Avenue in Naperville.

Tickets

Showtimes are 8:00 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2:00 p.m. Sundays, from Febrary 4 through February 13.
